Nao - Obsession

Talk about MTH.

I agree with you on both points. Daisuke in general sounds really good on the Buikikaesu album. ( I think it's amazing that he sounds almost identical to the recorded songs on the album. Does he ever breathe?)

I think that Nao sounds the best on their every first album Otori, her voice was more...harmonious i guess?.Not that I have a problem with her voice now, I just think that her voice cahnged after the Enzui Tsuki Waru single. IDK what happened, after I heard the song nagisa no shindobaddo (kigou) on the Enzui Tsuki waru single I was convinced that her voice changed, it scared the hell outta me the first time I heard that song. She made up for it with a nice drum beat though.

Daisuke in general sounds good in the live he matches or surpasses the recorded sound in my opinion ,and Naos voice did change slightly as you said or at least i notice a difference as well.
I like her voice in Buiikikaesu and Bikini Sport Ponchin the best though the ones where she sings more in are amazing as well.
In F her voice adds a really nice harmony to the chorus part. MTH would still be a good band(not nearly as good though) without her, but they would probably be above average which still is pretty good since they are one of the best bands if not the best i have ever heard. Though without her I think the band would die out because no offense to Daisuke even though hes my personal favorite I do not think he would organize as well as Nao does.
Plus Nao just has sheer Awesomeness on her side XP.

OH god. Her voice in those songs just...amazing. She's the reason I love Bikini Sports Ponchin. I really wouldn't like MTH as much (or maybe not at all) If it weren't for Nao. *dies* She is a MAJOR part of the band

(lets keep the Daisuke talk in the Daisuke topic please!)

Nao is the heart of the band!

I have a technical Nao question for you: Does Nao use a double-bass-pedal? You actually never can see her use one in their videos or live shows (at least I can´t :D ) but I´d guess she does. I´m just wondering how she plays certain things.

idk if she does or not but it doesnt sound like she does to me. she doesnt really do any blast beats or anything that would necessarily require a double bass pedal in any songs that i can think of. if she does use a double bass pedal it seems she just uses it for convenience rather than speed

No, I have seen most of Nao's if not all of Nao's recorded live shows and she does not use a double-bass drum. Although she does move her foot fast enough to fool some people to think that she does. But she doesn't, double bass drums have a distinct sound on account that the ball that hits the drum is different because of blasts and such. But Nao is just a crazy drummer and has a lot of energy so she can move her foot and can drum really fast. She's a skilled drummer is all, no double-bass.

I hope I cleared that up for you :3
